In fact, it’s absolutely a pleasure to receive this award, but I must mention that if there is one person I would like to emulate in life, he’s standing extremely on the left of my side, and that is Dr Debroy. So it’s an honor to receive it from him.
But I would also like to thank three very interesting people who have been friend, philosopher, and guides for me — that is Richard Dasher from Stanford, Michael Porter, and Christian from Harvard — with whom I’ve actually worked on the area of competitiveness.
And of course my wife, and my teachers in the past — that is Dr Balaji, Dr Vaidya, Dr Pritam Singh.
